How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain our technical analysis service; process your subscription payments; send account-related communications (verification emails, password resets, subscription updates); improve and optimize our service based on usage patterns; enforce our terms of service and prevent abuse; comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for automated trading or share your analysis history with other users.
Legal Basis for Processing
Under GDPR, we process your data on these bases: (1) Contract Performance — account and payment data necessary for service delivery. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with the following service providers: (1) Paddle.com (Paddle Payments Ltd), our Merchant of Record, which processes all subscription payments, handles billing, invoicing, sales tax/VAT, and payment compliance on our behalf — by purchasing a subscription you also agree to Paddle's Privacy Policy at https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy. (2) Google Cloud Platform for hosting infrastructure and Google Gemini API for AI-powered analysis — when you request an analysis, your selected stock symbol and related market data are sent to Google's servers for processing; Google's privacy policy applies (https://policies.google.com/privacy). (3) Yahoo Finance (via yfinance) — we retrieve publicly available stock market data (prices, volumes, company information) from Yahoo Finance to power our charts and analysis; no personal user data is shared with Yahoo. (4) YouTube Data API v3 — we use the YouTube API to discover and retrieve publicly available video metadata and transcripts from financial education channels; your personal data is not shared with YouTube through this process; YouTube's Terms of Service apply (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). (5) Cloudflare — we use Cloudflare for CDN, DDoS protection, and performance optimization; Cloudflare may process your IP address and request metadata in accordance with their privacy policy (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/). (6) Law enforcement when required by law. All third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection obligations.
International Data Transfers
Your data is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (us-central1, United States) and processed by Paddle (United Kingdom) for payments. For EEA users, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) per Google's Data Processing Amendment. Israel has an EU adequacy decision (2011/61/EU).
AI & Automated Decision-Making
Our Service uses AI (Google Gemini) to generate educational technical analysis. This AI output is for informational purposes only and does not produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. You may request human review of any AI output by contacting admin@al-ai.net.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use two categories of cookies: (1) Essential cookies — authentication session tokens, language preferences, recently viewed stock tabs, UI settings, and cookie consent state. These are always active and required for the service to function. (2) Analytics cookies — used to understand usage patterns and improve the service. Analytics cookies are consent-gated: they are only set after you click 'Accept All' in the cookie consent banner. If you choose 'Essential Only', no analytics cookies will be placed. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can update your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie settings, or clear your browser cookies (which may require you to log in again).
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all communications, secure password hashing, and access controls on our servers hosted on Google Cloud Platform. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We apply the following data retention periods: (1) Account data (email, display name, preferences) — retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account deletion. (2) Analytics and usage data — automatically deleted after 2 years via scheduled cleanup. (3) Payment and transaction records — retained for 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations. (4) Analysis cache — retained temporarily (hours) to improve performance and automatically purged. (5) AI analysis history — retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data and analysis history will be permanently removed within 30 days. Payment records subject to legal retention requirements may be retained longer.
Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data through your profile settings; correct or update your information at any time; delete your account and all associated data; export your data; withdraw consent for optional data processing; lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
